On another note, we have now changed our paper card bobbins to plastic card bobbins and all our kits will be delivered with the plastic ones. Plastic bobbins last longer and you can use them for your future projects.
New designs! Unique and unusual hearts in cross stitch kits, patterns or charts. Patterns are available for download. Most designs are medium stitching level. They are all in full/whole stitches with no more than 30 to 40 colours.
The cross stitch kits come with an option to choose different fabrics and colours like 14 count aida, 16 count aida and 28 count even weave. So there are options for everyone.
I have designed and stitched a butterfly with only two colours. Black and variegated thread. This is a Madeira variegated thread and I love it! It is stitched on 16 count aida but the kit is available in 14 count, 16 count aida and 28 count evenweave.
I have designed a cute little owl and stitched it in a couple of hours. It is in whole stitches only and has bright colours. I am offering the pattern free to everyone. Feel free to share with friends, family and cross stitch groups in facebook, twitter and pinterest.
I will be posting more freebies in my blog, so don't forget to click on the follow button to get updates every time a freebie is posted.
I have just finished stitching a modern swirly turtle. It is stitched on 16 count aida with whole/full stitches only and it has 8 colours. It isn't a difficult design, it took me a couple of weeks to finish but I only stitched about an hour each evening.
I have used Madeira threads, I love Madeira threads they are very strong and shiny.
Queen Victorian in cross stitch kit or pattern alone. Design by Yiota's XStitch, model stitched by Dianna Powsey. Kit available in different fabrics and colours: 14 count aida, 16 count aida, 28 count evenweave.
Size for 14 & 28 ct: 30 x 34 cm (11.8 x 13.4 inches)
I have finished stitching a lovely swirly heart. A few tiny mistakes here and there but one can't tell as the design is supposed to be modern/abstract/swirly :-)
I have used 16 count aida, it is all whole/full stitches and there is only one colour, red. I have enjoyed stitching it.
The design is available for purchase at my shop and you can get the whole kit which includes the chart, fabric of your choice, needle, threads and instructions. Or you can get the pattern by post or email.
